Our kids deserve to grow up together In Real Life instead of on screens.
It only takes 25-30% of a community to shift a cultural norm. This pledge is intended to do just that by demonstrating that families across our town are creating a new “everyone else is doing it” narrative.
One way to make it easier to hold out is by choosing a kid-safe phone which avoids the danger and distractions of smart phones. You can absolutely give your child a basic phone and still honor the spirit of this pledge.

By taking this pledge, I join a group of parents committed to delaying social media and personal smartphone use (kid-safe devices are fine!) for my child for the 2025-2026 school year. Please list your child(ren)'s grade for the '25-26 school year. Family names will be shared privately with parents of students in each child's grade.
